HighChem kickoff meeting with Xinjiang Tianye (Group) Co., Ltd. was successfully held at ECEC on July 14, 2017 for the process package design of 600,000 ton/yr ethylene glycol (phase I project of 1,000,000 ton/yr syngas-to-ethylene glycol), with team leaders from Xinjiang Tianye, ECEC and HighChem attending the meeting. It is currently the largest ethylene glycol plant under construction in China with previous HighChem collaboration on the construction of Tianye Phase I (50,000 tons) and Phase II (200,000 tons). The kickoff meeting marks the start of entering implementation phase of the project.
