The resumption ceremony for the 300,000 tons per year coal-to-ethylene glycol project of Qianxi Coal Chemical was held in Qianxi Province on June 28 where the owner, general contractor, and construction unit made a statement of their position and signed agreements for goal responsibility.

At present, the filing, environmental impact assessment, safety assessment, and other procedures for the Qianxi 300,000 tons per year coal-to-ethylene glycol project have been completed. The gasification plant has been almost completed, and 96% of the total civil engineering work has been completed. Installation of the steel structure has been completed, as well. Through the joint efforts of all parties, project construction was resumed and is scheduled for boiler firing and a test run on October 1 of this year.
