The delegation from the Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group (SCCIG) visited the head office of HighChem in Tokyo for a seminar at the Yulin Large Comprehensive Coal Chemical Industrial Park on May 15. SCCIG Chairman Yang Zhaoqian and HighChem President Taka Ushio introduced the current project progress and had positive and effective discussions about the construction schedule and specific work of the park for the future.

In 2015, SCCIG commissioned HighChem and Mitsubishi Chemical Technology Consulting Company to conduct research at the Yulin Large Comprehensive Coal Chemical Industrial Park and submitted the construction plan based on the research result. The construction of the park was approved in the 13th Five-Year Plan issued by the State Council in January of this year.
